When we were looking for a solution, our file room was so packed we were either going to have to procure new space or spend about $25K to secure the flooring due to the extra weight we would have to cram in there. We have since turned that space into a conference room. FileVision is absolutely wonderful...we are able to track incoming documents that get scanned directly to the Noticeboard of the intended recipient; send emailed correspondence to the tenant's file, send documents printed from our housing software directly to the tenant's file...and so much more. No more hauling chunky paper files to and from file cabinets, this process is smooth and simple to use. Customer service is great as well, any minor issues (and I do mean minor) we've had were resolved immediately. We love it, it has made our filing a snap; both to file and retrieve information!

FileVision and (our implementation consultant) have been amazing to work with and it was especially highlighted during our recent Housing Management System conversion. We were on the fence about continuing to use FileVision (because of how hard the new HMS vendor was pushing their document management module), but have found FileVision’s filing system superior to the alternative and mostly, due to the customer service aspect of how FileVision operates.

Iit has made auditing easier as well. I can’t imagine having to get the paper files out to scan in every time we had to do an audit. It has reduced paper use, time needed to look for a file. Looking for a specific page is now at our fingertips and can take just a few seconds. It is very user friendly, a lot of work up front but it’s definitely worth it.
